If rumours of Lennon to Norwich are true, then Lambert to Celtic in the summer could be a possibility.

Apologies if already posted.  From The Independent's reporter at post match press conference.

I'm assuming it was Kendrick that Lambert was getting annoyed with?
Yes it was.
You can tell the tide has demoted turned now. All press are now giving both barrels.
Lambert is a dead man walking, takeover or not

Just be grateful that he is going, who cares where!?

Picture this...

Villa get relegated. Lambert gets fired. Neil Lennon gets appointed after both Lerner and Faulkner receive a letter of recommendation from Gordon Strachan.

I should also add that Lennon fit the criteria required by having Champions League experience!

I see where you are coming from DC5, but  for some reason shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic or making the captain of that doomed vessel walk the plank come to mind.

Rubbish - I give you Freddy Krueger

Both Strachan and Sir Fergalot will congratulate Villa when they appoint the former's team mate and Purplenose's accolyte the one and only Mark McGhee

Lambert has to go in the summer, come what may. No idea who comes in, but this bloke has failed.

Lambert going on about things happening behind the scenes that we don't know about can surely mean one of two things

One is that there's a takeover happening - sadly, I find this hard to believe.

The other is that Lerner has totally put the squeeze on re signings. Which I find significantly easier to believe.

If there is no money in the summer and Lambert stays I am 100% sure we will go down.

In fairness, if there is no money then whoever is manager is going to struggle. I believe there is money though, not Pubehead spending, but £20mill a season isn't peanuts either.
