Just a bit of simple organisation and a game plan of some sort could go a long way. We look so clueless under Lambert. It's ridiculous. I think we have enough quality in our youth set up and in the squad that we could have been home and hosed by now. He's just a piss poor manager.

I think a new man and half a dozen signings could be enough to transform us next season. Of course, it has to be the right man, and he has to be given a reasonable amount of cash. I mean, should 30 million really be beyond us?

His conservatism over selection is bemusing given last season. I really felt we were building a meritocracy where players had to earn the shirt, but this season that's gone out the window and I feel it's having a negative effect on the squad.

I'm gutted it hasn't worked. Lerner should now be looking for his replacement.

Weimann appears to be undroppable and he's been absolutely atrocious most of the season.
In Helenius's case, he's obviously struggled to settle but he scores against Sheff Utd, is one of the few bright spots in that game, but barely gets a sniff since. You'd think the confidence gained from getting a goal would mean he's worth giving more game time to, certainly over someone like Bowery.
Any confidence gained from that goal will have ebbed away long ago too.

I'll be curious to hear how 'excellent the lads were' and 'we'll go again' and it's 'our terrible luck'.

Yes a good point. Weiman has been dire for the large part. Baker / Clark clearly not good enough but not even a loan CB in January.

Me too and I agree. However the club hired the man most of us wanted, after hiring a man nobody wanted. I have no idea, and am scared at the prospect at what the next person through the door will bring, but it's something that now needs to be done.

I firmly believe that a manager that understands the importance of simple passing and movement would have us entrenched in the top half of the table right now. The players may not be Premier League quality, but an effective manager could get more out of them as a unit, I'm sure. With Lambert, we're doing worse than we should be doing with this squad.

Well Randy can't sack himself so Faulkner should get the tin tac as well.

I thought the appointment was uninspiring but was prepared to give him a chance. He blew that chance a long time ago and instead of getting rid they entered into talks to extend his contract- clueless.

If there was any evidence needed to see how totally out of his depth he is then today was the day.

We should fire him now. He has to go.

Something is wrong. The job is too big for him, shame but there you go. Anyone taking over would be horrified by the weakness of the squad. Worst we've had in 25 years.

The talks to extend the contract show Faulkner doesn't get football.
