Based on what?

Three league titles as a manager plus 4 cups including the copa del Rey at Valencia - plus over a dozen years managing in European competition - remind me what lambert has won ?

Souness has a similar record.

Souness has been out of the game for years , koeman is still in management and looking to manage in this league next - lambert is out of his depth - time to bring in someone with experience of managing big clubs and tactical nous.

You really do talk some clichéd shite.

Sadly the only way for the fans to let the club know how they feel is to boo and chant stuff like Lambert Out.  There is no polite way to let the club know our feelings without it sounding terribly personal.

I'm not sure going for famous name's is the way to go personally either. We nearly did that with OGS and he's so far making a pigs ear of it down at Cardiff. Koeman may well do a good job, but I would'nt be making him my number one choice for next manager just yet.

I thought we bossed it in the first half and it was a pretty damp affair until Westwood went off; that is when Lambert dropped the ball and handed the initiative away for me.

Sylla just isn't up to it.

It feels like we're drifting at the moment, like a ship that still has a sail and rudder, yet the skipper doesn't seem interested in what raising the former of having a helmsmen control the later.

We need more variety in how we play.

Lose against Norwich and that's exactly what will happen.Must win game has been used a lot lately but Norwich truely is a must win not just for the points but for Lambert's future in the job.A loss and the crowd will turn ,I have been to 2 home games this season Palace and Shef United and walking out the sense was he or indeed Lerner have little support left.

Those times the fans booed but it was brushed aside quickly I can't see that if we lose next week. Results go against us in other games and we will be 1 point from drop zone with Chelsea City and United to play.

I think we are likely to go based on fact we can not get results at home and we have 3 teams near us to play at home.We have just played West Ham ,Cardiff and Newcastle and got a massive 1 point and scored no goals. This team and the manager are in deep trouble.

It's not a question of famous name , its a case of an experienced manager of big clubs who would be interested in taking the job - I wouldn't make koeman my top choice overall but the managers I would go for like Bielsa , laudrup, etc would probably not want the job .
I don't see any British manager that fits the bill either and we need to go for someone with experience of managing at a high level .

You did say yesterday that the man we should go for is Koeman, so I presumed he was your top choice.

I haven't really thought about who we go for next. I suppose it's a discussion to be had if and when the time comes.

All managers, and players are 'looking to move to the premier league' because it's a bloody cash cow, especially if you find yourself stuck in Holland for the third time, a league with marginally more financial clout than the sweaties.

He had the tactical nous to finish third in a two horse race in Portugal with Benfica, and took Valencia to the dizzy heights of 15th following that Spanish cup win.

Also, when he has had success, he appears to have fucked off to a better job offer at the drop of a hat.

So, as long as you've managed big clubs, that's ok? No matter if you've made a pigs ear of it?

Of those available who would take it yes he would be my top choice - there are better managers of course but I don't think they would be interested in the job - I would hope that randy already has thought about who he should be looking for in the event of lamberts departure but as past experience shows  he seems to often  takes weeks to appoint someone.

I'd have taken the new Fulham boss as my first choice. Pedigree and smart.

Do you have anyone in mind who is realistically available and would take the job?

No, because I wouldn't sack the manager coming into March.

If we we're minded to do so, I would now be making enquiries to make the change in the summer.
