Every Villa supporters' "second team" is Villa Reserves/Under 21s, surely?

The interview with Lambert on another thread addresses a lot of the issues discussed here.  He said a contract "can wait" so it won't be happening anytime soon, so there's little point getting your knickers too twisted by the opening post.

Interesting. So is that the club cooling off or does the rumour about Celtic have some weight?

Most likely neither.

Hopefully both. As long as it's not Lennon coming the other way.

I wouldn't be sad to see Lambert go. Although i would be if that Ginger weasel Lennon came the other way. I can't stand that horrible little man.

I thought Lennon came across as very humble and, to be honest, quite brave when he spoke about his struggles with depression recently.

I don't want him as our manager, and I am genuinely not even remotely interested in anything whatsoever to do with Celtic - Rangers bickering, or Scottish football full stop, for that matter, but he seems to me like a bloke who has had his fair share of problems in his life, and was brave enough to speak out about what it did to him mentally, so I respect him for that.

If Lambert gets a new contract I'm going to do my job in the worst way imaginable for the next 18 months and then wait for my rise.
