£42 has been spent, the clubs words not mine and that doesn't include wages, signing on fees.

Benteke £7.5m
Kozak £7m
Vlaar £3.5m
Okore £4m
Bennett £2.75m
Westwood £2m
Lowton £2.25m
Kea £2.5m
Bacuna £2.5m
Bowery £0.5m
Helenius £1.5m
Tonev £2.5
Steer £0.5m
Luna £1.75m
Sylla £1m

What are they worth now?

Benteke £25m
Kozak £3m
Vlaar £6m
Okore £4m
Bennett £0.5m
Westwood £1m
Lowton £1m
Kea £0.5m
Bacuna £1.5m
Bowery £0
Helenius £0.5m
Tonev £0.5m
Steer £0.5m
Luna £0.5m
Sylla £0

So i'd say we'd make a tiny profit on them all looking at it, with the majority of it being Benteke,

Even sunshine's grey in your world isn't it?

Those figures come from where the sun doesn't shine.

They're not worth fuck all right now because the windows closed, but that put aside you should be working for the government with that level of 'figure massaging'.

What about Guzan? He has to count as a Lambert signing. And a lot of those valuations, both buying and selling, are just a tad off the mark.

For all the criticisms of Lambert and I think a lot are valid, I wouldn't say his signings can be questioned in terms of value for money and retaining their value. Most if not all will have increased in value if it came to selling them. The debate should centre around whether most of them are good enough to play at the level they're playing at with Villa, that's potentially a different story.

We've spent £42m in 20 months, it's a fact. We would barely break even if we sold Lamberts tat signings, that's an opinion.

I agree, whether enough of them are good enough is a totally different argument, but that certainly doesn't mean we'll lose money or barely break even on them.

It's a fact is it? Despite the manager himself stating that some of the figures you've quoted are way over what was actually paid.

Claiming Kozak is less than half what we paid for a few months ago is a little beyond desperate.

If Kozak is worth £7m then i'm a monkeys uncle, I've seen nothing from the guy to suggest he's in that bracket. He was over priced and not needed either in the bigger scheme of things.

no his goals haven't helped and a record of a goal in every two games is just worthless. No team would want a player that offers that. And as for your made up value, that has already been refuted by the manager.

Kozaks goals may well be the difference at the end of season and priceless.
