I hope along with some better midfield players we buy one or two with pace. If we are going to persist with counter attacking football then we need that option on the bench as well as in the first XI

Defending well but my god we should keep hold of the ball better when we get it.

Who's the Everton co-commentator? Sounds like Alan Stubbs?

It's a bit backs to the wall now. We don't have the pace to get out and we've too many behind the ball to keep it

We need a change to get more movement down the channels for us to play into. We just seem to be hoofing it and waiting for them to come back onto us

We need to press the ball and offer some sort of threat here.

KEA for Holt is probably the right change.

goal coming if we dont start pushing now.
This is where we need a midfielder who can hold on to the ball and control the game.

If you were offered a draw from here would you take it?

Not now no. Before the game I would have.

This is Pulis-esque. He's the only other manager in the league that would have considered signing Grant fucking Holt to be fair...

If KEA has enough energy I think this game is suited to him. He's our best player at winning the ball in the oppositions own third. And we need to get weimann's energy up top

we are going to go on a run where we dont have any luck and that scares me

We might also go on a run where keep winning points despite not looking like we should. Let's face it, if we can hang on, 4 points from Arsenal, and trips to Liverpool and Everton will be a really solid return.
