Coleman, Distin and Lukaku out for them, Benteke getting back to his best, Villa arriving at Goodison on the back of a derby win while Everton do so on the back of a derby hiding. Gotta be 2-1 to the Villa boys.

How long you been a Villa fan? I was expecting a 3-1 Everton prediction after that post. ;)

I'd be more confident of Villa getting a result if they hadn't got tonked in their derby.

Martinez will have them fired up so 2-1 win for them.

On Monday night I was completing my Sky Super 6 forecast.
Well before Everton's tonking by Gerard & co and our heroics against the Tesco bags. I predicted a 2-1 away win and I feel even more confident now.

After our respective derby results midweek and the impact on each club's Belgium striker, I'm confident of getting at least a draw. I'll go for 1-1.

My old man was asking for tips for him and his mates' coupon this weekend. Based on our away form, I told him Villa were a decent bet at 11-2.

Such a difficult game to call, they've got players out (Lukaku, Coleman, Distin) as mentioned, along with Oviedo and maybe one or two others, they've also just been spanked in the big derby whilst we're off the back of a win in a derby-ish.

However, this is Everton at home, they lost once in the whole of 2013 and that was with 10-men. They're a top 6/7 side and will be favourites with most people.

Then again the Villa are in town, 8 years since a defeat there, 2 Villa wins 5 draws, very impressive. Not to mention how well we travel as opposed to playing at home.

2-1 either way would not surprised me one bit, but I'll go with 2-2 which would be a very good result.

Who knows but even with a weakened Everton side our defence has got to shape up or we'll get nothing.

Everton play a high defensive line, we have quick players.  I am optimistic.

One all, although I hope I'm wrong for the right reason. If we go at them we can win this one.

I think we've got a great chance of winning. With gabby in I think we would win. Without him I think it's possible but perhaps not probable
