This is an ideal opportunity to put some distance between us and the bottom clubs. Unfortunately that has usually meant we don't take the opportunity.  3 points would make us fairly comfortable but one good 45 mins at Liverpool has not turned us into good side. All that aside, I'm hopeful we will win.

I agree with your view, victory would mean 27 points with 15 games left to play.

I hope the Villa give Albion a good tonking.  :)

Think a lot depends on gabby, really think his pace will hurt them so I hope he's fit. With gabby 3-1 villa. Without gunna say a draw 1-1.

Hoolahan to arrive tomorrow. Team: 4312 - Guzan, Bacuna, Vlaar, Clark, Plastic, Westwood, Delph, KEA, Wes, Gabby, Benteke. 2-0 Villa - Wes, Benteke (pen).

Nurse, more of those very effective happy pills!

Looking forward to it. I think we have (just about) the better squad and the derby atmosphere should dispel the silence of the lambs at Villa park. That said I really rate their new manager and Anelka will be out to make a splash against us.

Should be entertaining!

Can I please change my vote? 42 votes, the worst home record in living memory and not one person thinks we're going to lose? I see a bad moon rising.

Oh do come on, let's not allow facts and form into this. It's Albion. They'll be glad to experience an atmosphere and get the day's papers rather than wait a week.

Gagging for this one - as long as we give 'em a good hiding! Long overdue!
I've got a feeling for 3-1.
So it'll probably be 0-0.

We'll hit the woodwork 14 times and have 17 goals disallowed.

2 weeks later the ref's spokesman person thingy will apologise that they should have had 12 penalties, Olsson will tell the BBC that Chris Herd stamped on him again (even though he wasn't playing) and Anelka will be elected top man at the UN. Popo Molo, or whatever his name is, will be hailed as The Secong Coming!

UTV!
