I look at our last match and think, we'll win this. Then I remember pretty much every other game we've played this season...

This is an ideal opportunity to put some distance between us and the bottom clubs. Unfortunately that has usually meant we don't take the opportunity.  3 points would make us fairly comfortable but one good 45 mins at Liverpool has not turned us into good side. All that aside, I'm hopeful we will win.

No excuses, three points and a healthy win is the least I expect against these shysters from down the road.

4-1 Villa.

Does anybody know if their fans are traveling over on organised coaches again?

Probably my last game of the season due to the pregnant Mrs MDC getting almost as big and immobile as Richard Dunne. Hoping for a win to mark the occasion. As someone up the thread said a win here and there will be a good gap to the bottom three.

For some strange reason I have felt confident about this game for weeks, 3-1 Villa, I predicted 2-2 on here for the Bindippers away game so I am on a roll.

Looking forward to this. I've had a shite past week or so, hopefully this game can raise my spirits. I doubt it.

1-1 with Benteke scoring first and Albion getting a late leveller.

If gabby is out I've a feeling he may play the same eleven that played the second half v Liverpool

I stand by to be corrected but I think that would be a mistake - really lacking I width, creativity and pace. I can see it being a bit like the Cardiff home game but with them having more of an attacking threat

If gabby is out I wouldn't play holt. I'd bring bacuna in for KEA with Lowton at RB, and albrighton on the left. Weimann off benteke.

A diamond with benteke and holt looks pretty long ball to me, especially with no real width in midfield and Weimann as the number 10
