I know they don't suit everyone, but I like half five kick offs. For home games, anyway. Better to have a game like this, with minimal travel, moved than say Ipswich or Norwich away.

Reading 7.45 on a Tues from a nice 3pm slot on Easter Monday. Bunch of wankers!

Very disappointing but I suppose it helps having that extra 24hrs recovery.
There might have been a bumper crowd for a bank holiday 3pm kick off though.

Yep. We'll lose out on money at the gate and possibly a better atmosphere.

True, but it's all the more frustrating because the Reading game isn't on TV. It's moved due the Hull game being put back which is also frustrating as Sky are showing a number of games on good Friday but have moved ours back to the Saturday instead. (which also means I cannot now go to Hull as the match is now on my wife's birthday!).

MFB Wouldn’t it be nice to take your wife to Hull for her birthday present the city of culture and all that?

I can just picture the scene. "Hull, you say? For my birthday treat you say? And what's this, by coincidence the Villa are playing there too, that day? You are SUCH a romantic!"

You may manage to take in a Rugby League match while you’re there too, if she’s lucky.

I'm pretty sure they play the derby on Good Friday. Personally that would be a great weekend but I appreciate I'm not a representative sample.

I don’t think they deserve to be crucified over it.

Risky choice of words that!

Surely #thatsthejoke

The fact that we had one less day to prepare for our next game. It's two hours during the day, they have the whole day to celebrate the death of a fictional character, what's the problem?

Our inconvenience is nothing compared to what JC had to endure that day.

At least I am certain now to want to go to Hull.  I just don't understand the fixture move - Reading game unless  it has something to do with the Church.

The correspondent from Bearwood explained the move a few posts above or below depending on your page set up.
