Leeds will 99% be on TV. Two biggest clubs in the league and both in or around the play offs.
By the time we play Yorkshire Whites we won't be around the play offs we will be in automatic promotion 2nd place.

Can't wait to see their new badge on our scoreboard. It'll be magnificent.

So despite the fact Leeds only average about 27,000 at their games currently, and the club reckon they spoke to 10,000 fans about the new badge as part of a consultation, 70,000 people have signed a petition complaining about the new badge.

Presumably the 10,000 people the club spoke to weren't actually Leeds fans?!

There's no way Leeds are bigger than Wolves, Wednesday or Sunderland. The most over-hyped club in England.

It will still be on telly though, due to said hype and the fact that we are, obviously, massive.

I'm 55 so have always thought of them as a big club. When i was a nipper they were in and around every trophy from the late 60s to 1975.

Just googled their record and was amazed they have only won the FA Cup and league cup once. They have won as many European trophies. Interestingly their first real trophy (not counting division 2, 3 etc) was in Europe in 1968, before any domestic honours.

Given all that I am now more impressed by their support.

Their support is very impressive, especially considering how long they've been down in this league. Still selling out every away game and averaging 33k+ at home this season.

This is their highest average in years. Last year it was 27k, 22k, 24k and 21k in the three seasons before that.

Where the hell have they found 10,000 fans from in the past two years?!

Oh come on now. I don't much give a damn about Leeds and I enjoy laughing at their decline and disasters but they absolutely are a big club.

We get 40,000 a couple times a season and have averaged it fairly recently too. Leeds have never averaged that.

Remember though, they are the 4th biggest city in England population wise and only have one team. Look at London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Nottingham, etc who all have two or more teams. Not surprised really that they have good support.

Plus they have fans from when they won the league in the 90s. Bastards. I fucking hate them.

They, along with Liverpool, were the glory hunters club of choice when I was in Junior School in Tamworth. I still know a few Leeds fans who have never been to Elland Road.
