Bristol is a very underrated night out.

One of my favourite cities in the U.K.

The finest city for gigs (closely followed by Manchester and London)

The last train out of Bristol is 10pm. So your choice is drive, go on the boring coach, or stay over.

Given this inconvenience, I really hope the club hurry the fuck up and get tickets on sale so we can plan accordingly. For once.

Surprised we're not on TV more, only 2 games compared to I think the 6 we were on last season up to October.

I think Bristol is great for a weekend away.

I've walked from Bedminster back to Temple Meads before, pretty sure it took me about 20 minutes and the ground is only another 5 minutes up the road so it could be feasible to make the last train back if you're out sharpish on 90 minutes.

Or get a taxi if there's some outside the ground.

Yes. Less than 20 minutes if you have a spring in your step and gasping for ale.

I think we've decided to make a weekend of it... assuming we can get tickets. Missed out last time but guessing that the move to a Friday night and it being on telly should mean I just about make the requirements.

Same here.  I'm going away with my girlfriends family to Dorset. They booked it last year, so I did say I was waiting for the fixtures to be announced to confirm whether I'd be traveling down Friday/Saturday/Sunday.  Absolute touch that the game's been moved to the Friday night!!!

Having watched us last season can't say i'm too surprised we're not on more often.

I think you misunderstood. My holiday is at my caravan and starts on the Saturday. It is let out until the Saturday morning.
