So? The Football League was never intended to be English only. The League of Wales was founded more than a hundred years late, and is part-time. Why would a team which, even before they were any good, could attract thousands of fans want to sack all their players and staff and go to play in a park league in front of 200?

Apparently, Swansea City were preceded by a club called Swansea Villa. (according to Wiki)

Because they are Welsh.

So you think they should abandon all their history, make all their full-time staff unemployed and ignore the wishes of their fans just to satisfy patriotic jingoism for a nation that doesn't actually exist?

You do realise I'm being facetious don't you?

But they really should bugger off to Wales, and take Cardiff, Newport, Merthyr Tydfil, Colwyn Bay and Shrewsbury with them.

Clearly I didn't, excuse my stupidity I've been drinking for four days!

Although if you can get Swansea to take alleged former Welsh capital Liverpool off to the League of Wales with them, we may have a deal!

Not sure if there's another thread this should go in but the home game vs Leicester has now been moved to Sunday Dec 7th, 4pm kick off.
You have to be fe kin joking

Shitty zombies. Will they refund my train ticket cost for 6th?!

Actually if you send the unused tickets back to network rail -or whoever they are now - you will get a refund.
Why would you expect 'them' to ?

I'd imagine that they're non-refundable if they've been bought this far in advance.

Well that's most inconvenient. The Saturday is my nephew's 18th and match related plans were already taking shape for the occasion.

Non-refundable. Nevermind just need to pile in and buy a Sunday ticket then let my family know that they have an honoured guest all day Saturday and I'll be needing a sofa to kip on.

Just actually remembered I'm going to see the Who on the 6th December art NIA so going to have to leg it from the Leicester game. Cheers Sky, could've done with it being half 1 at least.

One Saturday 3pm home game left (if they don't change it) till 17th January and that will probably be moved to 5:30pm. (Liverpool)

Chelsea after that so I can see that changing to 12:45 or Sunday

So potentially our next 3pm Sat home game could be Feb 21st  ::)

When do Sky normally announce their games for December? I am thinking about the possibility of our trip to The Shrine being pushed back to 17:30.
