He looks a quality fighter, but he's just made himself very difficult to put on in any other city. Him on the same bill as Frankie Gavin or Tony Bellew would be fun.

Yeah, would probably have to introduce an 'away' section the first time in boxing!!  I haven't followed him too closely, but found it a little strange that last night was only his third stoppage in almost 20 fights.  Normally boxers who have gone to mix at the higher levels have a much higher stoppage rate and blow most of their early opponents away within a couple of rounds.

Not quite on the same topic but one of the things I don't like about boxing is the very shady, if not a touch threatening, world of boxing promoters.

Joshua was very impressive but the ref should have stepped in earlier.

AJ is gonna a World champ, he is a superb prospect. I see he is fighting Michael Sprott on 22/11 on same bill as Cleverley & Bellew fight.
Anyone know where that is happening. I may try for a ticket so i can see AJ before he reaches megastardon and ticket prices to match.

On another note Lee Selby was excellent last night against unbeaton Aussie 27-0 going into the fight , a good stoppage and probably did
win every round.

They are going to find it hard to make good matches for Joshua going forward.  I can't remember seeing a fight where anyone has laid a glove on him yet and most of his fights have been over after he has landed his first punch.

Yep, I agree totally, he made a really good fight of it though

The problem I have with the British based commentators and pundits is they always make it out a lot closer than it really is,

Good win for Kal there.
The Nicaraguan was very experienced, was indeed a very good win, and as he said himself in interview it will have done no harm
at all going the full 12 rd distance.
Just hope Macklin can come away with a win as well.
