the fight should not have been stopped at that stage, but Froch was coming back strong at the time,
now if Froch underestimated Groves and didn't put 100% into his training, then he will this time round so he might be in better condition,
however he is the older man and you would have thought Groves could only improve on last time out as he will have more experience and a lot of confidence

I actually want Groves to win, Froch comes over as a bit whiney and condescending, but it has all the makings of a cracking fight

Anyone know what pubs in Birmingham usually show the boxing? Looking to watch Froch vs Groves on Saturday somewhere.

I would guess just about any pub with a TV will show it.

There hasn't been this much interest in a really competitive British fight since that fight in September (?) 1990 and the re-match. Can't wait for it. I too thought, as I guess most did, that Groves was very unlucky but I also think Froch underestimated him which is unlikely to happen second time around. But will Froch respond as he had to do it against Bute, or will this be one young pup too many for him?

Froch in 6 rounds for me this time.

Earlier today I wagered a few pounds on the very same, 20-1 at William Hills.

I won't see it sadly, but I think Groves will win.

I'm going Groves 9th round stoppage....Froch is a great fighter, but his whining has got on my nerves.

Grove's has a style which Froch struggles against. His fast hands and movement around the ring were an absolute nightmare for Froch last time.

I don't buy Froch's line that he didn't prepare properly for the 1st fight. Its a cop out, rather than just admitting he was outboxed for 8 rounds before the ref stopped it the first time Groves was in any sort of trouble.

I think if Groves can keep his head, and refuse to become involved into the brawl he got dragged into in the 8th and 9th rounds, then he'll win.

I think that Rileys are showing the fight and the Lord Clifden in the Jewellery Quarter.

Wouldnt be surprised if Groves wins on points if he has the stamina. Froch most certainly has. A close decision followed by a third match possibly at Villa Park.

I'd like to see Groves win, don't think he has the power for a K.O, so maybe on points, but i reckon it'll be Froch late on.

I've watched the ending of the first fight at least a dozen times and while I thought it was premature then, now I'm not so sure. Just before the ref steps in Groves seems to stumble forward and to me that's the crux of the matter because I can't see whether he was tripped or whether he really was that unsteady.

Anyway, I think Groves will win based on my adage that more often than not youth beats experience.
