Not looking good in the curling, five-one down to the Moose Fuckers after three ends.

I prefer Beaver Hunters!

That sounds like an upcoming programme on The History Channel, just after Pawn Stars.

Elise Christie knocked over as she was about to qualify for the final. Not sure if they might let her back into the final or not.

Christie penalised and eliminated? No idea what she's supposed to have done wrong this time. She's had a disastrous Olympics, I can't see why she's been penalised for getting tripped up by somebody else?

Shocking refereeing, anyone could see the Chinese took her out and didn't look.

The fact they're having to speculate about why exactly she's been penalised suggests that it was a strange decision.

I have just watched the highlights of the race and thought she barged the Chinese gal on the back straight before the corner. Whether that is legal I wouldn't know but as she was done for slipping into someone else accidentally in the first race, I would say no.

There is some argy-bargy allowed so what went on prior to the fall was legal. No idea what she's meant to have done wrong, it was a ridiculous decision.

Getting farcical now. I accept they are nervous, but bloody hell.

They didn't play well, they'll be the first to admit that but come on.  It wasn't farcical, give the Canadians credit, they were just brutal and were going straight for the jugular from the off.  It's the way they play and we couldn't match it.

Such is the strength in depth, to get to the Olympics the Canadians have to beat all the other top teams in Canada.  As a curling competition, The Roar of the Rings as it is called, is the best tournament in the world but it means that these guys are on top form arriving at the Olympics.  Any of the top 5 teams in Canada could win this they are that strong.

The Canadians did play well, but didn't really need to exert themselves that much when we were constantly failing to get past our own guards, rolling simple shots through the back of the house and turning twos into ones.

I think at one stage, Andrew's had an accuracy percentage of 38% (around 5th/6th end). All 4 of our players were so far below their usual standard in this tournament it was crazy.

What about the attempted rugby tackle by the Chinese woman just before the finish line in the final. I can't believe that's allowed, is it ?

I'm talking about the final, not the semi

I lost interest after Elise was screwed by the officials for a third time. Such poor officiating for an Olympics.

Well surely for at least two of them it was good officiating as she did take out two others and didn't "skate" over the finish line.
