The women curlers really made a hash of that last match and now have to play the unbeaten Canadians. Bronze at best it loks like.

Bronze at best it loks like.Don't focus on the 0 losses, being unbeaten in a tournament like this isn't good. Eve herself went unbeaten at the recent European championships and lost in the final.Eve had a shot to win against the Canadians, admittedly it was hard but not many teams have had that opportunity and the Canadians missed very makeable shots when put under pressure. I think Jennifer Jones would rather play one of the other two teams in a semi-final.Edit: reading some Canadian curling forums (I play the game, I'm allowed to be sad enough to look at them!!) and there is a some consternation at the thought that Eve lost on purpose to get Canada in the semi rather than Sweden. All quite funny.
Shame it was Beavis & Butthead commentating though.
British women losing 5-4 to favourites Canada with one end to go. Need to pick up at least 1 stone to force a play-off end against the hammer, so very unlikely.
Russians losing 3-1 to Finland with one period left in the hockey. Putin will not be happy at all if they don't turn this around.
