Arsenal 2 v 3 Aston Villa - 1988
« on: January 20, 2014, 10:44:41 PM »
Anyone remember this game? First game away after promotion against the title holders. We went 2-0 up from memory before being pegged back to 2-2. Then preceded to get the winner with a screamer from Andy Gray (the midfielder and not the striker).

One of my fav away days ever - wish I could find highlights from that game

This was my first trip to Highbury and we weren't expecting to get much from the game. They weren't title holders at the time but won it that season. I remember McInally getting two but couldn't have told you who got the other one.

Our kid went down on his jack, I went the following season though.
