For most of this season I have defended Benteke from supporters of other clubs who accuse him of being "found out". I can no more. He may be as good and powerful as I think he really is but he does not want to play for this football club.  And yet........ A goal now.....

Holt? Really? Fucking hell.

Mind you, more threat than Benteke at the moment.

If that's true I despair.

I'd take Holt over the tamed beast atm.

If we don't concede in the second half, Lambert will probably celebrate

We might have done a bit better this half, but we offer absolutely no threat at all.

because Arsenal have won the game already.

We're a piss poor excuse for a football team, and we need an influx of a considerable amount of talent this window alone, just to stand still.

Westwood has done better this half he's actually tried risky passes. Lowton has been fucking dire.

Honest question...

Would we better or worse off at this point in time if Doug was still in charge?

Don't even go there.

reports that Grant Holt is signing a six month deal

ah I was too late!

No, no, no, you've misheard. Randy has granted a halt to all signings.

Benteke getting pushed off the ball quite regularly. How depressing.
