Problem is we're not scoring goals like last year and we're starting to concede at least two on a regular basis.

Ggabby got the ball then, 2-0 down, 2 Villa players in the box against 6 Arse players

Not since opening day of the season. He's very reminiscent of Michael Ricketts.......

From BBC Sport:

"Christian Benteke is a ghost of the man who terrorised the Premier League this time last year. As he fails to control a ball into him he just watches it bounce away and doesn't even chase it. What has gone wrong?"

What indeed.

Not good enough. The manager, most of the players. Just nowhere near good enough. May can't come soon enough. Fuck Lambert off and get someone even vaguely competent in.

Listen  faulkners interview on the other thread - all about how well we are progressing in 11th - so much better than last season - wonder what he will say in 3 weeks time :(

Its  alright  for him

he  isnt paying to get  in

It's damage limitation mate.  Lambert would take 0-2 from here no question.

I watch week in week out other sides at least have a go. Sides that might end up losing but they do so having had the audacity to take the game to the opposition. I've seen Stoke and Palace this weekend have a go, not be afraid. Yes they lost, but did so in an effort to win. I haven't seen that in a good number of games from us, and we fold like a cheap tent way too readily.

For the love of god...what happened to our high energy, pressing the ball high up the pitch that we showed end of last season....it's just sit back, sit back, sit back. WTF has happened to us...

Thought we were doing fine before 2 individual errors

Me too. Arguably had the best chances too. El Ahmadi's yellow is making him more anonymous than usual, he has to come off at half time.
