This sounds like vintage stuff: square balls in front of United's defence, no penetration, no creativity, no guile, no threat. Pitiful.

Worth noting, Sheffield United are not just a League One side, they're *18th* in League One.

This just isn't on, and the depressing thing is that it was absolutely likely to go badly the minute the draw was made.

Disgusting. Just disgusting.

The players and manager should be ashamed to pick up their paychecks. But they won't be. That's the problem.

We've always struggled to break teams down who are happy to sit in two banks of four at Villa Park, going back years and years. We might have had some shots though.

We need a better final ball played in, but otherwise I'm happy that they seem to be trying to play football, at least.

One of our goalscorers scored at Carrow Rd to put Fulham 1 up!!!
must have bounced in off his arse cos he's crap
I wish we could have one that bounces in off someone's arse!
Unfortunately from 40 yards out that becomes incredibly difficult.

It does seem as if Villa are fulfilling a prophecy for the subeditors today.

Is there a worse home side in the country at the moment, I would not bank on us beating anyone at Villa Park at the moment. We are absolutely terrible... Feel really sorry for the people who have season tickets, because this is just not good enough for Aston Villa.

Fucking diabolical, and that win at Sunderland doesn't cover up how bad we are at the moment.

Near miss from Benteke.
Albrighton is apparently quite bright today, as has been the case in recent games, the one player who looks like he might make something happen.

Sheffield Unitedīs away form in League one is

1-3-8, goals: 7-19

Why cant we even get a shot at goal ???? It is so depressing, after being please with the line up.

Even the live commentary on the home page says "not got going sofar"...
