It's madness having folks travel long distances on bank holidays though, utter nonsense.  Almost makes you pity the Penzance Reds. Actually, ignore me - I've got coach fever..fcuk em!

Happy New Year all

Must think about doing a coach to Cardiff, Des.

Did we fill the away end today ? Top marks to all that went.

I think we sold 1300 out of 1900. Fair play to those that went - not the easiest journey on New Years Day.

I was coming down the A1 at lunchtime and counted nine Villa coaches heading the other way in convoy. Made my heart thump a bit.

Damon, may have been mentioned but saw you on the news reporting from Edinburgh yesterday. Made me feel sort of proud.

The Conference still tries to make all matches local. How dare they think of the fans!

Hopefully he isn't too badly injured, doesn't sound like he is. He makes an enormous impact to our side.

I even included watering the lemon tree I have grown from a pip from a tree by the side of the bar where I had a beer with Bad English
I am glad to know that that tree is doing well Brian.

Well as per usual the Sunderland forum (Love Supreme) says we were the worst team that have played at the SOL this season, our fans are crap...😃

Then the realists give us credit. I love football forums...
They see a worst team every other week play at SOL. The team is called Sunderland.

Just watched MOTD. Well, it seems that but for Sunderland's keeper, we could have had 2 or 3 which is really encouraging.

I was a bit concerned with Benteke moping after he missed his chance instead of trying to get involved in the play again. It's disappointing.

MOTD did not show a third of our chances.

In the aftermath of Benteke's shot that was cleared off line I noticed that Benteke just stood around as Gabby desperately tried to get hold of the ball. Not sure if he did that because he would have been offside or it's another cause of his lack of involvement just now?

I thought that about Benteke, very disappointing. As I didn't watch the game was interested in seeing the Delph and Albrighton chances folks have mentioned.

I suppose it goes without saying that MOTD is awful.
