Why do we insist on making this game so difficult. Keep the ball, just make short simple passes to someone in the same shirt, preferably moving forward. I am happy to see a patient build up. much better that the pass and hoof , hope for one of ours to get on the end of it!

Ki bossing midfield for them , if Swansea don't want him I'd take him looks class.

26% is pretty poor again but at mo we are winning so can't complain too much.
He did at Villa Park too. Looks a really good player - very comfortable on the ball

We're playing really well, come on Villa.

Really. We scored via a mistake.

Missed Gabbys goal (as my river is not flowing properly) but sounds like a great atmosphere up there. Assuming that Bacuna doesnt get sent off (and he might) we have a chance.  Nice piece of hold up play from Benteke just before the break.

Have to say, it does remind me of Dortmund - under Ottmar Hitzfeld. I suppose it won them the CL, so who knows.

Mrs Rob is South Korean and we saw him play at Ricoh during Olympics - a class act. Seems to have had a fall out with Laudrup.

It's really interesting the wide variation of opinion being posted on how Villa are playing.

Guess it' what makes for lots of discussion on Lambert, the team etc.

Gabby's goal celebration was stranger than his last one.

And have had numerous other chances, just so happened that was the one that went in.

Last season I could never have envisioned Benteke ever looking so devoid of confidence.
