The way they play football compared to us is a fucking embarrassment to be blunt. But for a top striker and some more cutting edge, Swansea are a top side.
We look miles off at the moment.

Too poor. And again, we have no ideas so keep going long. We are a hoofball team, as much as Lambert wants to deny it.
Half time Paddy Power managerial change?

Bielsa in!

I wish - nursey has tweeted that he thinks Bielsa is maybe Cardiff bound.

27% possession at home.

Swansea look like visitors from the Planet Football.

Embarrassingly shit.

I agree with this. Swansea look like they're in a different league - a much better one! Just watch the movement of their players off the ball!

They definitely look better than us, but I think they're shaky when we have a go at their defence as well.

But if we had more posession than that, we would only give them the ball back straight away

I hope everyone watching this who ever advocates 4-4-2 is now seeing the futility of playing like that. It's not bad if you want to be defensive, dig in, frustrate and counter, but if you want to have a lot of the ball and go toe-to-toe with an opponent, especially one like Swansea, you just can't fucking play it.

It's not the formation, it's the style. We need to push up and press them. Any formation is shit if you have everyone in your own third except for your strikers.

Come on, that's willful blindness. The formation is a huge contributor to the crapness of the style: not having options on the ball, everyone being miles from everyone else, being too far away from anyone else to be anything other than stodgy and stuck in 'your position' and never interchange, being constantly outnumbered in the middle of the pitch and nobody knowing whether to commit or run backwards all of this virtually guarantees less possession and being overrun, especially by a side like Swansea.

What formation do you advocate with the players at our disposal?
Personally I don't see anything wrong with 4-4-2(1-1) as long as the players know where they are playing and what they are supposed to do, and perhaps more importantly are good enough to do the job they are supposed to do?

Our midfield looks so not there. How can so many players disappear from a game.

We're at home and the stats show us 27% possession, 3 shots, Swansea 10 shots. It's looking like another lost home game as we don't look like creating anything likely to trouble their defence.

Lambert just looks totally unable to produce a side who can keep the ball and create chances on a consistent basis.

You need the ball to have a go.

23% is a disgrace at home.

It seems that you've summed up how weplay no matter what the formation.

We not playing 4-4-2 though we're playing 8-2. Which led to 36 minutes of total domination from them.

this.

They are so easy on the eye to watch Swansea. Lovely football to watch.

Anyone got a rough idea how much this Swansea side cost to put together ?

About £28m quid.

It's been absolutely gash since we went 1 up.

They've decided to keep calm heads and play football, and we've decided to run around like headless chickens chasing shadows and lumping aimless balls the very few times we do get the ball

Fucking horrid. A friend just said it's like Barcelona playing Bilston Town in terms of the quality with the ball

I'm predicting a loss by 2 clear goals unless Lambert can do his job and get them focused
