Lambo's team selections are never predictable. Settled sides perform better. 442, presumably.

our left side is woeful. dyer and/or routledge could have a field day

no defenders on bench seems strange, herd must be injured again

would have much preferred albrighton on the left instead on tonev

Gabby as main forward might work well, but I'm stuck for a reason as to why Tonev deserves to start and Albrighton doesn't. However, given that the games are days apart, maybe fitness is the reason.

Hopefully he's gone easy on the turkey over Crimbo. He can't afford to look any more Rooney-esque.

The Albrighton thing has to be fitness. 3 starts after months out in quick succession.

Tonev looked positive and actually dangerous for a few minutes the other night.

I'd rather see Tonev right and Weimann left - Weimann looks better when cutting inside and Tonev is better with his weaker foot than Weimann, giving him more options on the right.

Guzan, Lowton, Clark, Baker, Luna, Westwood, Bacuna, Weimann, Delph, Agbonlahor (c), Tonev

This is right up there with some of the worst line ups I've ever seen. We'd put out line ups in the stiffs 5 years ago that were far better than this to be honest.
