Let's keep our ambitions realistic. A first half goal?

Three consecutive passes over 10 yards?

A forward pass to a player in the same colour shirt?

Juan Pablo. The fans who go have been patient beyond belief. We have got rid of that 'fickle' reputation.

I don't see us pulling off another Southampton/Man City where we come away with 30% possession and 3 shots on target but somehow win the game (3-2). Games like that happen rarely and we've done it twice already this season. I think we've used up our jammy/inconceivable wins quota for the time being.

It would be nice to repeat this fixture from last year. Fairly routine and comfortable home win. But I suspect Swansea will have too much quality and we are fecking awful.

I think to myself sometimes about what team I'd play. You type it out, and it just looks shit.
I'll try.
Guzan, Delph, Gabby and then make up the rest from an interchangeable mix of woefully off form, or simply nowhere near (and never will be) good enough for this level. Our squad really is a sorry state.

A Villa goal in front of the North Stand would be nice.

1-1.

But it will feel like a defeat as can see us being in the lead and conceding in the last 5 minutes to someone like Shelvey.

Looking at the team Swansea put out v Chesea, they rested first choice players like Chico, De Guzman and Bony and only lost 1 nil.

Our only realistic chance of success is to find out which hotel Swansea are staying at and poison them all. I've got some salmon in the fridge that's gone off, tell me where they're at and I'll get it sent up there.

Failing that, we're doomed, DOOMED I tell thee!!

WE'RE ALL DOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMEEDD!!

Worst case, we'll stillbe above the Blues at 5pm so I'm clinging onto that.

Yes, over 7 months since one was scored in the league.

The bookies seem to think it will be close. Unfortunately I don't.

I believe we'll see midfield changes, think Bacuna will be in there somewhere and I'd be tempted to throw Gardner in and see if he can last an hour. I'd go for a midfield 4 of Delph-Westwood-Gardner with Bacuna playing wide to try to squeeze Swansea.

Have Gabby just off Kozak. Albrighton the unlucky man. Weimann has no business being in the starting 11.

God what is wrong with you lot. Pull yourselves together.
Of course we will score a goal. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of our remaining cup ties.

I'm taking my daughter to the game tomorrow, we only get over for one or two a season. Her record so far: four games, four losses, three managers

Could she play left back?
