No real surprise. We're a very poor team. Even Stoke have a plan.

Without Vlaar Gabby and Benteke is tough. No left back either. It is where the squad starts to look a bit pathetic. We need 3-4 players in the Vlaar, Gabby, Benteke quality bracket desperately.

To be honest, the squad looks almost constantly poor in some positions.

I haven't watched a Stoke Villa game since that 2-2 draw at Villa under MON, 2-0 up cruising with 10 to go.

Was it 10 to go or less - I thought it was about 4 minutes to go when they got their 1st?

Ugh. That was the start of this shocking decline we've had.

Thats why we signed 6 players in the summer to give us a squad, but it is a squad with no quality

Other than Wembley, that's the most depressed I've been coming out of a Villa match in years.

I wouldn't back any of our players to equalise with only Begovic to beat.

You're not far wrong there.  May have been even less time left, a horrible day at Villa Park.

We're far and away the dirtiest side in the division it must be said.

We just need to keep the ball on the deck. No point playing Pulis football against a Stoke side who are moving (slightly) away from Pulis football (even though they got their goal going more direct).

I know it isn't over yet, but let's face it we truly are a horrible team. Lerner has to invest in January or we'll be in deep shit in a relegation battle.

I've only watched the second half but we seem to be crying out for a someone to put their foot on the ball and string a few passes together.

For me it was more depressing that we didn't get any points out of seemingly winnable (at the time) games and watching Arsenal close and then overtake us. Fucking Stoke.
