With the hints of in-fighting, the Trust's statement, the suggestion that factionalism is at work, the club's failure to publicly support the manager or sack him, it looks a bit last days of Vietnam to me.

Except rather than the Viet Cong marching into our 'compound', it is the championship sucking us down as we finally say goodbye to a status we won't have again for a while.
