Based my thoughts .45 years a Villa supporter ..
The hardest thing for me to take is that I love everything about our club apart from the current stewardship and team....and that's crazy. If anyone reading this sits in Trinity middle block B......I was the bloke sat alone in his seat as the stand emptied, I sat there till I was asked to leave and I was just thinking to myself what a totally beautiful place this is, how it makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck every time I take my seat and how its been such a massive part of my life for 40 years and how it deserves better than what we have had for the last few years. Last night I realised that I have started to fall out of love with the game, and the frustration is that there's very little those of us who really care can do about it apart from sit back and watch it all happen because its totally out of our hands.I haven't felt as bereft as I did yesterday for a very very long time. I believed in the young and hungry philosophy because I thought it was another example of our great club taking a leadership position and sticking two fingers up to Sky and the modern game. I was wrong

I was wrongThat's the exact feeling as me, I have 5 season tickets in my house with my kids and you can ask Legion how passionate we all are but I really don't know how much more we can take.My eldest Georgia 11 for the 1st time in years has asked not to go anymore, to see the look on her face after the game yesterday was heartbreaking, she plays football for 3 different teams and loves every aspect of football, she always watches football on telephone no matter who is playing and being the kind hearted girl always wants the smaller teams to win.I know she's not the same as you 40years strong but just wanted to let you know that the dire dross of football being played at villa park is even effecting her.Can I keep doing this..... Change is needed.
I will keep most of my powder dry on this as new issues of H+V tend to come round frequently at this time of the year and I feel an article coming on. However, I share the feelings of many here. I fell out of love with the modern game some time ago but never shook my Villa obsession. It must be said though that I am not enjoying this season. It is becoming more of a chore to go down there with each passing game at the minute.

I have spent too many long journeys back up the M6 after abject performances at B6.
