Is this our worst midfield since David Hunt and Mark Lillis?
Yep. Honestly KEA is very poor.
Westwood isn't good enough yet, and doesn't look like he has it in his locker either.
Sylla isn't a footballer, he's a cross country runner.

Likewise the defense out at the moment is as poor as we've ever had. We're sorely missing Vlaar, and even Ron isn't a patch on the likes of Mellberg or Laursen.

3-0 more criminal defending, and the ultimate insult Cleverley scores. Luna at fault again.

Anyone out there, likely to come, who will do it for us?
Now you see when I asked why keeping Lambert was such a genius move I was hoping for 'He's doing this, he's doing that, he's doing the other'.  What I was expecting, and got, is 'There are no alternatives', 'They won't come.'

This is what worries me.  Even Lambert supporters can't, or won't, point to anything he's doing as a reason to keep him.
It's a tough one I admit. The constraints he works under are impossible in this league. I know he has spent quite a bit of money but our wage bill is probably similar to a Championship team, well once the big earners have all finally gone.  We are not in the market for quality players it seems, all potential which is far too much of a gamble. The odd one might pay off and be a masterstroke. There is no way a whole team can be bought based on this method. To find a team of winners in the lower leagues must be like the odds of winning the lottery.

Maybe keeping us in the league with this team is actually a achievement in its self? He did turn it around last season? Or did we get lucky with Benteke turning into a Messi type player. Blimey we do need him to start scoring though.

Luna gave the ball away for that one, too. Cricket score pending.

It's truly awful.  In the space between Baker and Luna again and the latter just gave up.  I was already relatively beer depressed before this kicked off but this is awful!

6 weeks in a row we've played dreadfully, yes we've won some points but it's more inspite of our performances that because of them.
