As regards the Southampton game I'm in the celebrate a win, don't worry too much about how you did it and move on to the next game camp.

Would be nice to play well and win but I agree the main thing is the result  and give an undeserved scruffy 1-0 win over a thrilling 3-3 draw anyday .

Hoping that Rooney or van Percy get slight knocks tonight then we might even get a draw. If not it will be the usual result. Lambert did say all the squad would be needed for this period, Helenius anybody?

I expect our poor home form to continue, 0-2.

There was a doubt over whether they could start with RVP last Saturday. When they decided to the plan was to take him off as soon as they could as he wasn't 100% but the way the game went they had to keep him on. They also need a win in the CL to win the group and get a better draw so hopefully he will play a lot of minutes tonight too.

Agreed. Didn't hear too many Everton fans moaning when we played them off the park for 70 minutes and lost.

I too hope they get slight knocks which involve the terms ruptured, punctured, torn or season ending.

If we had our best CM and best CB available for this I feel we'd give it a 'right good go', however without them I fear a 1-2 defeat. That would hurt almost as much as a 3 or 4 goal drubbing simply due to sheer accumulation of seeing them win at VP, plastic twats.

I truly despise them and would love to beat that hateful club, but the truth is we are moving up from being relegation candidates to midtable wobblers. Their squad is so much more expensive than ours it is hard to see how we get anything from it.

My only ask is that we play like we actually give a shit, unlike against Fulham.

A 96th minute winner thanks to a Vidic OG and I think i'd have a sex wee. So much karma to be had in that happening.

I can't get worked up about losing to these arseholes any longer, I'm more bothered about the insults that Beijing Red 4 Lyf is going to throw our way.

I'll take Gabby to blow by him, and as he cuts back takes a shot which loops off his leg over De Gea

Whose squad was more expensive, Man Utd or City?  I wouldn't rule out anything but I certainly would put any money on it.

His insults for us would probably be worse if we beat them. The Geordies got some stick after the weekend. Here's hoping we find out :)

They'll turn it on, just for us.

Villa 0-4 United.

We have the firepower up front.

We don't, that's the problem.
