Sunday 15.12.13 1.30pm KO

1-0 home win

Bacuna 90+

I hate playing this lot and their obnoxious, glory-hunting fan-base.

On the day he took over he promised this -

Quote
Although there will be no quick fix, the very least Lambert has promised is that Villa will set out to win matches, rather than try not to lose, which will make a welcome change from last season. "We'll definitely try [to play a more entertaining brand of football]," the former Norwich manager said.

Please can we see this  entertaining brand of football at villa park some time soon?

With Vlaar and Delph I would fancy our chances but without them i fear the worst  0-2.

I don't care how poor they're doing right this moment, I still don't think we have a cat in hells chance of winning this game. Even when we've had decentish teams they've mullered us at home. We aren't suited to play at home, we don't have the confidence to play at home and they have the sort of players that will attack us early on and score quite quickly giving us a mountain to climb. We've struggled against Sunderland and Cardiff - well, most teams at home -  and rode our  luck against WBA and Southampton, I honestly cant see us troubling them at the weekend and that hurts. No win at home since 1995 vs United, cant see that changing this year.

PS Aston Villa, even though I truly believe what I've just said, I hope you can do what you always do and serve up the opposite cos I've honestly given up knowing what to expect any more.

1-3 Man United

Hopefully Vlaar is back for this and Lowton comes in at right back if not i fear Rooney and Van Persie will have a field day. 1-3 defeat

1-3  Clark for us. Van Persie (2) Rooney for them.

If Lambert selects Weimann I shall use considerable bad language and probably get ejected from the ground.

He will of course!

Vlaar is "doubtful" for the game but Lambert is "hopeful" it isn't a long term injury. Anyone else worried, like me, that it might be?

I don't care how we do it but I just want to win this one.  They can have 98% possession and batter us all day long if only we can score the winner with a fluky goal in the 98th minute of Fergie time.

We can stick the knife in at the weekend. I honestly don't think we should fear them. Just go out from the first whistle and attack these twats. We have the firepower up front. Defence is a bit of a worry but so what.

Guzan

Lowton - Baker - Clark - ?

Bacuna - Sylla - Westwood

Weimann - Kozak - Gabby

We will field a decent team and we will beat these twats.

So far I am the only person who has gone for the draw. I can't wait for the game to come and go. I get really wound up when that lot show up.
