Well you can't really complain when you win 3-2 away to Southampton, and now sit in 10th place on 19 points and a clear 9 points from the relegation zone. Can you?

No.

I only caught the second half... 23% possession? and we won?  I'll take it, but I don't like it...

KEA has all the tools, why can't he just assert himself on a game over a full 90 minutes?  That cross was magnificent, but he was so laconic on the ball one second before that he almost lost it.

I like the way we toyed with them by pretending we were really shit - hoofing the ball, mis-placing passes, taking throw-ins straight to them etc - when in reality any time we wanted to we could stroll up the other end and score. We only needed to have 3 shots on target to win so that's all we took. That must be really annoying for them

MANAGER REACTION - Southampton 2-3 Aston Villa
Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert: "We were outstanding. The first goal from Gabriel Agbonlahor was world class, but the Fabian Delph strike was even better. The game is not just about Christian Benteke, he is just a young lad."

From the BBC

I don't think we were outstanding. But a great win, and as someone pointed out on the match thread, this win is revenge for all the luck they had at Villa Park last year.

Well done Villa

I love this nice one - as an earlier poster said that was payback for VP last season

If we could sort out our home form we'd be top 4 contenders.
