I know Borussia Dortmund frequently give away lots of possession but win games by being the best counter attacking side in the world, but they also work really hard to get the ball when they don't have it, and when they do, they at least try to keep it.

We rely on counter attacking but without all the other, good stuff.

For all their possession, they haven't looked all that dangerous.

Is now the time to mention we were 1-0 up at HT last season?

Good score line and a lovely goal, but we really need the midfield to do something. We cannot afford to give them that much possession or we'll probably lose and Guzan has got to stop hoofing it away.

Apart from the goal we've defended for 45 mins, not good.

Relieved to get to HT without conceding. They've been playing football, we've been playing hoofball, we got lucky with a good break and really well taken goal by Gabby

I'm not a man to be fixated with stats. But 30% possession and 46% pass completion sounds absolutely appalling. 46%!!

can we have a spoiler alert  when someone puts a score up

I want to enjoy MOTD tonight ;)

I agree. We should have a new rule that posting scores on any thread other than 'Other Games' should be a banning offence  :)

Staying awake until Villa are on MOTD is always a tough task. Anyway, we need to know whether Wigan are losing, so that Villa cannot be relegated.

Good to go in 1 nil up, but would be nice to see some actual football being played from us, some passing, keep ball, and stop hoofing it upfield for no one.
