I miss Houllier. Imagine had he stayed and got some of the signings he'd planned?
I was thinking this earlier. We seemed to be entering the 21st century in terms of style. We've gone so far backwards it's desperate.
He'd already marked the cards of the likes of Collins/Dunne etc. He had good ideas on rebuilding our midfield.
Seeing us continuing to persist with KEA makes me regret we didn't give Makoun more of a chance. He can't have been any worse, that's for sure.
I also think a natural progression from him could have seen us move onto Martinez, who a year down the line with good work in place may have taken the job.
