Admit it:- you'd completely forgotten about him, hadn't you?
He was looking to be a really astute signing. Here's hoping he makes a speedy recovery.

I just hope people are patient with him when he comes back.
Cruciate ligament injuries are horrible, and it can take you a season to get back up to speed even after the initial time out.

"I had the same experience. I know what he's going through. Gards and Sharky were struggling last season so I had a few words with them. It must have been frustrating for them."
Gards and Sharky. Cracking nickname dropping there from Mr Vlaar.

I think that Okore's injury was a massive blow to the club, and resulted in PL having radically to change our pattern of play. I reckon if he had not been injured and had forged a strong partnership with Vlaar, we would be playing a much more adventurous style of football, particularly at home.
Instead, we now have to maintain a defensive shape and keep players behind the and ball rely on counter attacking.

Good point adrenachrome, Okores pace, along with Bacunas, would have allowed us to play a high line, and more of a pressing game, which is what i think PL wants to play.
IF he comes back to be as good as he looked, then Okores will be another very good signing by PL.

He was going to be this season's Benteke for us. I was certain of it. I am not sure who this season's Benteke is. Certainly not Benteke at the moment. Bacuna perhaps?

Okore is already a legend. May he have a speedy, not speedo, recovery. Lock thread.

Sharky and George, crime busters of the sea.
Jores was never forgotten on these pages. We just wouldn't allow it to happen.

Lol.. I had to click the link to get Sharky. That is brilliant.
I am chuffed Vlaar has turned up as a player this season, as he seems to be a really good bloke to have as captain.
