2010 & counting.....there is always old VHS tapes for nostalgia.

You'll need to access old British Pathé archives to see anything of note that your lot has ever achieved.

Don't exaggerate. Their all-conquering BFR team were the best team ever.

Until it got cold.

I'm sure Albion would give all those unsold tickets to school kids from Sandwell if they could find the place.

This reminds me of the good old 'Balance of power is shifting' days and Blues circa 2002-2003, with 'Noses coming along to tell us how it's all change and we're shite.

Priceless stuff.

The Throstle has flown! Super Sandwell! Tears running down my face here, that is absolutely priceless. Even if I wanted to take the piss, I couldn't think up anything better. I think I'm right in saying the last time the Tesco Bags won anything was, erm, 1968. That is, erm, 45 years ago, so coming up for a 50th anniversary as they won't ever win anything in the next five years. And that was the League Cup. Or like the Blues, are they counting relegation and promotion on their list of subsequent honours? Or did they win the Johnson Paints something or other trophy too? You're not Adrian Chiles in disguise are you, surely you can't be that ugly? Or such a complete and utter plank?

At least they have the highest ground in Europe, tek thousands everywhere and have never been in the 3rd division.

It was probably Franksey. His show starts in 10 minutes, he probably had some time to kill.

Yes but Albion are at such a disadvantage having to play their games in the highest of high league grounds so it's bound to get colder there than anywhere else in the world.  If there was a league of highest above sea level grounds Albion would always win it.  They should write to the FA for an apology or something.

Wasn't there a book called 'The Throstle has flown'? I think the film had Michael Caine in it with Adrian Chiles playing a village idiot in East Anglia where the german paratroopers landed? Frank Skinner played a gay priest if I remember correctly and Len Cantello the local wench

You're out of order. We're talking about former Watney Cup finalists here.

Rattled by Albion, I know what you are.

You all sound like some delerious old bufoon who used to have some semi important position in life and hadn't realised its long gone. Football has changed ladies, so have the times. Income streams are from places other than the  turnstile, 1982 is31 years ago and if anything it's that melancholic strumming over once peice of glory that holds you back as a club.

We'll beat you again on Monday and finish above you again. Why ? Because we are a better side. In a few years reality will start sinking in and the throstle will have already flown.

It's 2013 you know.....some clubs are even the plaything of a random yank!

The amusing thing about Albion fans is this "we'll finish above you, and we'll beat you again" being passed off as if it's the norm.

How many times have they beaten us in the last 28 years?

I believe it is a figure close to 1.
