It's very amusing the reasons they are coming up with for struggling to sell 24,000 tickets for their cup final. We know what they are.

I don't think it's fair to imply that they're a tin-pot outfit. They've won a surprising amount: First Division champions in 1920, 5 FA Cups, 1 League Cup and a league game in 1978.

That was only 1-0 wasn't it? Their record over wolves is pretty astonishing isn't it? Monday makes me very nervous...

Astonishing indeed considering wolves are the much bigger club ;)

We have had some oddballs down the years but this takes the biscuit - how small time is that  !

that depends on what your definition of "recent years" is.......

as the Albion have also switched leagues a few times, apparently it was some ingenius plan to get parachute payments or something like that.

oh and I think it was 2-1 at B6....Agent Carson may have been involved...

as for Monday ?  Good will always overcome your obsession...

Yes but like Blues we don't play you very often, so you get those silly stats like only beating you twice in 35 years or something daft.

It's not like our twice at old trafford in 30 odd years record.

We play Wigan more often relatively speaking.

Haven't they only beaten us a couple of times in the last 25 years or something like that ?
I think we've only lost once at that subbuteo stadium of theirs since the mid 80s.

Its true, they will more likely than not be going down again in a year or two so lets enjoy it while we can :)

Since the last time they became good enough for us to play them they've beaten us twice and we've beaten them once with 3 draws thrown in. Our win came in 2010 so it does seem like a long time although the last 3 have all been draws and I'm sure they were crowing before both games at the Hawthorns these last 2 seasons they were going to humiliate us. Hasn't really panned out that way.
