Given where we both are in the league, the fact that we haven't conceded in three away games and them being what they am, our odds of 29/10 are phenomenally good value.

Certainly not , just noted that dave is no admirer of those chaps from smethwick.
Not sure if he lives or works among them but I get the feeling he would really love to beat them more than most :)

3-1 to Villa with Benteke amongst the goals. Similar to last year without the poor second half.
My baggies supporting brother in law was telling me yesterday not to worry about relegation this year as there are probably 3 teams worse than us, he and them need pulling down many pegs

The Bitters? Isn't that how Man United refer to Man City?

2-1, Villa

It would be nice if someone could amend the title of the thread in light of this unless someone can produce evidence of the expression being in use with reference to WBA as far back as 1969 at least.

Would 'The Bitter Birds' be better? Or the Throstles? Or the Stripies? Or West Bromwich Strollers?

We need a poll!

1) Bitter Birds
2) Stripey Filth
3) Sandwell Town
4) Tesco Bags

Why not west brom? If pushed to choose from the 4 suggested I would opt for the tesco one.
