Its neither understandable or necessary and deserved to be highlighted.

No booing by me (LH), I heard a bit from the upper tier but it can only have been a few people and I think more is being made of it than needs to be. By highlighting it makes it appear that it was a major issue when it wasn't, just a few people who don't really get it.

None where I was I sitting in P6, either, though I could hear it well enough.
Which part of the ground was it coming from in the main?

Higher parts of the Holte End, definitely. As it's been said though it really wasn't anything serious, this discussion's a little bit frivolous to be honest.

Indeed. Its almost as if we're the first team to ever have a section of supporters booing after a poor half of football.

My point is Lambert made an issue of it when he didn't need to. The support down B6 is bloody brilliant considering the shit lambert has served up the past season and a bit.

I don't boo, personally, but I sometimes understand why people do.

Not so much at half time, but full time, certainly.

Until yesterday we'd won 7 of our last 37 home games. I think the "boo return" on that kind of investment of shitness has been really tiny. I certainly don't think PL can complain about it, I doubt there has been a manager in Premier League history who had more patience, good will and respect whilst putting together some awful results than he did last season.

He's had the fans with him to a truly remarkable extent, I think it's probably something he should remember before commenting on that sort of thing.

Add to that 7 hours without a goal and it's not hard to see why some would show their frustration .

It sounded like a very mild small round of boo-ing more in frustration than anger from my stream lol.

Lamberts had a huge amount of support since he joined us taking into account the shite that has been knocked out in a big portion of games under him.

He's yet to prove himself at the club and will need the support of the majority if he's to continue his rebuilding job at the pace it's going.

Had it been a poor half of football you may have a point.

And as for Lambert's comments, you have to be very careful about drawing conclusions without knowing the context or the nature of the question he was asked.

I think barring the first 5 minutes, the first half was poor from both sides. You disagree, that's fine.

We had a good opening 15 minutes after that the rest of the half was poor .

So I hear lambert got a bit AVB with his post match
Hardly. All he said was

"You can hear the crowd getting edgy and that is the last thing you want, but credit to the players they battled and they were very, very good,"

I don't take this as criticism. I was edgy, I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one.

The 'you need the crowd right with you' comment is only an extension of this.

I can't see where he says we had no right to be edgy. He acknowledges that the crowd were edgy, he mentions how this impacts on the players. I don't read that as criticism. Try not to take it so personally.

I thought it was a very watchable game from both sides for the first 15 minutes.

From then on, till the 75th minute, we saw our increasingly frustrating inability to break down teams. It's even more annoying when it's against such a poor side, and we gift them possession so much (they had 60% possession for a long stretch of the game).

We ended up scoring twice, though, and won, so there's a limit to how poor a game it could have been. I've seen much worse than that recently.

Very true, I remember on Boxing Day when we were being turned over 4-0 by Spurs, for the last couple of minutes everyone left in the ground started singing "Paul Lambert's Claret and Blue Army", I thought that was a brilliant show of support.

Same against Wigan a few days later. I think there were fewer of us left than against Spurs though.
