I think, ultimately, the problem is that too many of these players just aren't good enough.
You cant buy players in poundland and expect them to compete with players from Tesco...

4-4-2 with two big men up front. Not exactly cutting edge, is it? I expected more from the first Brit to win the Champ's League with a foreign team.
