Two very average sides says the BBC reporter. Seven hours without a goal! If Cardiff scores just once can anyone see us scoring twice?

Booing is a bit harsh when we;re on level terms, but I kind of understand it.

This dire home form is getting very boring.

It would be very harsh If it was a one off , the problem is , its the norm

I am as patient as the next man, but giving Cardiff City 60% possession at home is not a sign of good things happening any time soon.

Yep it's simply not good enough.
That could be what the transition is, from Premiership to Championship.

The project is in full bloom. Can't wait to see what players he conjures up January. Some vague Stoke City midfielder who's 26 and has been on loan in Azerbaijan since 2009.

Amidst the wrist-slashing, Vlaar's played well and no nuclear bombs have gone off, so it's not all bad.

ffs try playing football. Absolute drivel, and it doesn't need to be.

Vlaar has played well, but that tends to suggest we've been under pressure.

This is not easy watching. Let's hope one or two of them switch their brains on in the second half.

Probably a forlorn hope though.

I'd love to know what tactics Lambert tells the players because I haven't got a clue how to explain the way we play other than disjointed and rushed.

Disjointed and rushed is absolutely spot on.  I think the "rushed" part is supposed to be "high tempo" but we don't have players with anywhere like the touch and technique for that.  The "disjointed" is partly lack of a game plan and from what I see a lack of football brains on the pitch.

I partly blame the new Villa Park camera angle - it makes the pitch too small :-)

Vlaar has actually been much better this season, looks like a fairly solid premier league defender. Such a shame Okore got that nasty injury, I still think they'd have made a very good pairing.
