No improvement since TSM we are stuck with Lambert, Who could replace him if we got rid?

Let's see how the season pans out.   Lambert's only been with us for just over a year, he's only just getting started.

I was behind enemy lines in the Alpari Stand ( west stand), I can confirm the villa end was in fine voice.

cracking ball in from lowton for Benteke's chance. seems the only positive from the game.

agreed with others, that midfield trio are awful. Lambert signed the three of them too.

I dont buy the 'good point away from home" cliche. We are woeful at home and seemingly a lot better on the road. The performances at Hull and West Ham are unacceptable for me. I wouldnt have any more confidence beating either of those sides at home.

It really doesnt look good for us at the moment, Luna doesnt seem any better than Bennett, Okore out for the season, only Delph is of any use in midfield, with the exception of Bacuna none of our summer signings are adding anything, no goal threat or creativity in midfield, Gabby and Weimann are playing absolute muck, Nzogbia is out and Benteke isnt what he was last season.

If this continues the board will be under pressure to make a decision coming up to January.

Define improvement? From what to what? 13th to 12th?

And obviously you have a number of suitable list of prospective candidates who can step and replace him Pray tell?
And of this number how many do you think Mr Faulkner and Mr Lerner would be interested in hiring? Assuming you don't rate the current incumbent -- do you trust PF and RL to hire someone better. Their track record in recruitment prior to Lambert has been suffice to say sub optimal.

Yes, let's get rid after ten matches while we're mid-table. Then let's appoint our fifth manager in just over three years. That's a surefire formula for success.

It's ok keep saying that it would be bad to appoint a new manager, but would it be much worse than having to watch the dross that is being served up at the moment? I'm not saying he should go yet, but when you look at the midfield and think they are all Lambert's signings, signings which I may hasten to add don't look like they have the potential to improve, where do you find hope in what he is doing?

Let's wait until he has something like a settled side for a start.

My point is that do you think either Lerner or Faulkner could identify an available alternative who would be an improvement.

Graham Taylor has oft said it takes 2-3 years for a manager to shape the team in their own image. If we have another 35 or more game relegation scrap as we had for 3 seasons then serious questions should be asked. I don't see us in that bracket this season.
