Feels like Lambo is settling for a draw today.

how on earth did we win at Arsenal?

Not by playing 5 at the back and 3 defensive midfielders.

Times like this it is worth remembering that much more expensively assembled sides under MON and Gregory could be just as hopeless in possession.

The back end of last season was the first time in years is seen a villa side pass the ball like you'd expect an established top flight side to. We were playing in triangles, Lowton and Westwood were crucial to how we were playing the game.

We just look a lot shitter on the ball this season

Just hope we can regain that. Surely we're not deliberately trying to become a more direct and defensive side?

West Ham look much better than we do, they're at least managing to hold on to the ball for decent spells, even if they've not created much, but this is two teams almost entirely bereft of quality.

I hate Downing..but he's played much better than anyone in our team today. Feel dirty saying that.

We're getting a good pummelling and still they can't score.

Bitters are two up. At least we know Palace are taking one spot. And Sunderland almost certainly another.

Us, Fulham or Norwich for the other spot? Maybe Hull or Cardiff in the mix

Baker should never be allowed to pass.
