At least the bottom three are doing a good job of making us feel better.

Lambert often tries an attacking midfield sub around this time, perhaps Tonev for sylla or KEA?
It's a sound idea in principle as the game opens up  but it's rarely worked to date

I honestly thought we would be better than this technically. That the players that have come in were the exact opposite of the MON era. Who wanted the ball and could knock it about with a bit of pace and purpose. A bit like Swansea are or southampton are becoming.

I said in another thread last week that our players simply aren't very good. Or agreed with someone who said that. And I got slated being accused of being lazy amongst other things. I stand by that assertion

I brought the chances with me!

Just as turgid as hull away pws- a hugely boring game lacking any quality.

Could be worse. We could be Norwich. According to Final Score their three strikers have managed 6 shots on target between them all season.

These three points are there for the taking if Lambert is brave enough.

Get KEA off, he adds nothing. Put Tonev on, play him wide and get the ball to him as often as possible with instructions to cross from deep. The two big lads will cause havoc if Sylla and Westwood push on to pick up the scraps.

To be honest we may scrape a win but even if we do it cannot hide how desperately lacking in quality our side is - it really is worrying .

Only decent thing on the pitch is sian Massey and  shes no oil painting :(

how on earth did we win at Arsenal?

Home form has corroded the confidence we had on the opening day. Hard work and closing down got us that win.

Fun fact. If Stoke keeper Begovic scores another today he becomes their top scorer.
