Utter shite out passed by fucking West Ham

The midfield is non existent they offer no  out ball for the defence and no support to attack.Just constant long balls it's embarrassing

This is as bad as it gets. All those that hounded McLeish out because of his football style need to have a look at that 45mins and tell me how this fucking drivel is any better.

Is this what it's become then?

Buying heaps of players for fuck all to try and sell on for profit and battling relegation year after year, it's like being Wigan.

I'd bite Benteke's leg off for a 0-0 right now.

Cant find your own players when you have the ball, no surprise we are not creating anything.

Aah, you can always count on a Cattermole red card when things are bad.

Id love to see Johnson get some minutes, can't be any less effective than the midfield was in the first half.

This is quite incredible. A team that can't defend for shit (us) against a team that can't score for their lives ('ammers). It's like watching a drunk trying to poke someone's eye out with cooked spaghetti.

What worries me is that not long ago, we were saying that we couldn't defend for shit, but we'd always score.

Now we've started defending a bit better - a bit - but stopped scoring.

That was desperately poor. We're missing Delph and Gabby big time (which in itself says a lot). Who's on the bench?

Can't help feeling depressed at that, these being the start of the 'easy' games.

Sunderland down to 9 men. Them, Palace, Norwich and Fulham looking shocking.

Lambert needs way more time than he has had so far.

HT Analysis : Absolute garbage!

Positives:

a clean sheet and maybe the back three playing ok

Negatives:

We're supposed to be playing a 3-5-2 against a side that are having to field Kevin Nolan up front ... not only that but the back 3 are actually a back 5 with another 3 sat right on top of them. Thus you could fit the QE2 lengthwise in the gap between our so called midfield and attack

We can't keep the ball when its hoofed up field as there's nobody anywhere near Weimann/Benteke, which is playing right into West Ham's hands as they've got nothing to defend against. We've had a couple of scrappy efforts (both on the counter surprise surprise) but apart from that ...

If there is a more ineffective/ill equipped midfield three playing in the Premiership this afternoon i'd be amazed, at one point about 10 minutes from HT all three of the plonkers were within a radius of about 5 feet of each other in the centre as West Ham had the complete freedom of the rest of the middle third of the pitch

Fucking painful viewing

Villa are creating very little, unable to retain the ball, and clearly have no plan other than a long ball. Benteke has had no service and Weimann is working hard but he's not a natural finisher.

Hate to say it, but Wet Spam are playing better football than Villa. Lambert needs to change something for the second half. For a team who spent a lot of money on forwards, they aren't delivering much, how long since we scored a goal?
