Could have gone either way. They have better players than us and it eventually told, particularly once Benteke had tired. We've had such a tough run of fixtures we've not had any opportunity to build up some confidence and form.

Played better today but missed some great chances - defence looked woefully out of position at times and surprised gabby and Weimann stayed on when tonev provided better width - 4 home defeats in 5 and just above the bottom 3 - the early promise is fading - unless we sort our home form it will be a long hard winter ahead - again!
Disappointing day and it's happening far too often .

4 great goalscoring chances and we took none of them.
That's what happens when you don't take your chances.

Played better and midfield balance was better. However it's another really poor result at home and simply not good enough. Benteke was poor today, but probably reflected lack of match fitness. Baker just isn't a Premier League defender. My biggest concern is that we were well in the game when we went behind, but the changes Lambert makes frequently result in us losing any momentum or impetus. He doesn't seem to understand how to create pressure.

I've seen nothing to convince me that were in for nothing but a season of fighting relegation. Not acceptable. Our home form is an absolute joke and our manager is utterly unconvincing and is showing he does have favourites which is hampering our progress. Very unhappy with this result we appear to have made little progress Im afraid

We could have come away with something today. Big Ben scores and it all changes.
That's nine games played and we have played the entire top six

Have Everton Fans sing Ole Ole when passing it around comfortable winning 2-0 is quite the shitter
Home form is beyond woeful now
Lost the game due to them having the experience of Osman to come on.If thier is one thing that truly fucks me off with PL it's his instance you don't need experience based on us being crap with experienced players under Mcliesh.
Also we are surely the weakest team in the league their no physical strength in midfield at all.

Could have been out of sight by half time, in the end their experience showed and they were miles away from us in the last 20-30 minutes. Gutted, but on another day we could have got something from it. We go again.

Not sure how we lost that, they took their chances and that was that. I've had a quick look at the table, we may have actually moved up a place (?)
Looking at the bigger picture, I know these results are going to test people's patience but I feel we really have to stick at this. We looked very good at times today and the wins will come.
