Calm down. Spurs have spent the Bale money + a squillion other dollars more than Villa. 3 years ago we were lost, 2 years ago we were Eckfucked, 1 year ago we were transitioning. All relegation battles. This year, enjoy up & down mid table mediocrity. (Or agrre to take Arabs & Russians up the ass if they agree to give your club unimaginable wealth.)

That's all good and understandable, but then again, it's not as if we look much better against shit teams recently, is it?

I am starting to wonder whether we're set up to just survive these days. Lambert would do well enough to keep on keeping us up while not spending too much money, he'd probably get a better job at the end of it, and Randy won't have to burn more money trying to improve us.

Before the summer, I was most concerned that we hadn't really bought (with the possible, and it is only possible exception of Okore) any players who were notably better than the ones we had already.

We basically just stuck more of the same on top. I'm not really sure how much we were expecting to improve by taking that approach.

I think we had to build the squad up though. I am not going to come to that rather depressing conclusion until this time next season, if we repeat without adding quality.

Is it just me or is Tonev looking noticeably better than before?

And that we've passed the ball better in the second half - at times at least - than we've done in most of our games this season?

Too many long balls though.

I think Weimann has been better today. Not great, but better. The one thing I won't accept is when people suggest he's getting too big for his boots, and not trying. Never in a million years.

We looked a better team last year in my opinion...he's gone backwards Lambert

Utter nonsense.
Easily pleased

Statistically every single result this season has been an improvement on the corresponding fixtures last season, except for Norwich which was 2-1 last season compared to 1-0 this season.

This is an indisputable fact.

Easily annoyed.
If watching this is your idea of fun then good luck.

Ridiculous response.
Zzzz Zzzz

Where have I said I'm having fun watching this? You're making things up and then replying like a 10 year old.
When I first said we look better last season I was on about in terms of style, playing the ball on the floor more and not 20 ft in the air. Nothing to do with results, stats etc.

That's rich coming from you. You'll be happy about today as it fuels your misery.
if you don't like what my opinion is then why do you keep replying...do you fancy me?

Will it help to put a smile on your face?
Only of you're a hung

haha. That has put a smile on my face. I can't fault our effort, we just lack 3-4 quality players.

That is an accurate summary of the precise situation. Sorry for the shock, since you had not been paying attention.

Spurs have a squad we could only dream of, that's the reality. We desperately need investment, but there's no doubt we've improved on last year.

... its very hard to see at times!

But it is true. As said, statistically we have improved every single result so far this season.
Its dire to watch...you can't escape that fact.

Oh without a doubt it is fucking awful to watch at times. I accept that. But he needs 3-4 years before I write him off.

Neither am i writing him off but 15 months in charge is enough time to have addressed the issues i mentioned earlier. I'm not saying it's neccessarily enough time to have us challenging for european football or domestic cups, but there seems to be seem really obvious shit not being addressed. And the largely flat performances at home are not acceptable either, however much potential you think he has as a manager.
