Not confident about this one unfortunately but I would bloody love it, love it if we beat them. I hate Spurs more than most other clubs, christ they're so arrogant and smug, but why?! Because they won the Anglo-Italian Cup in 1971? Because they have over-sold their best player abroad? Because Soldado can score penalties? Because they have a cock on their shirts? No-one knows. Hope we really stitch them up with a last minute 2-1 win after they've had 100 shots all saved by the wall that is Guzan.

Great post.

I was thinking about this game earlier and I decided we'd win 2-1 with Benteke getting both.

Be very happy with a point. This game needs to be tactically right from PL to get a result .........

Now I know Dowds the ref 1-4. It will be 1-1 with the game in the balance, then Dowd will send one of our players off for no good reason in the first half

We need to combat the walker/townsend combination - spurs are beatable but it will be difficult - certainly we shouldn't go into the game  with any fear - the confidence from beating man city will hopefully help us at villa park - will be a close open game i feel with not much between the sides .

It'll be interesting to see if he goes back to the same formation that beat Man City, with the extra defender in there. Personally if Benteke is fit and raring to go, i'd throw him back in. If he's not, i'd be tempted to leave Kozak out and play either an extra defender or midfielder with just Gabby and Weimann up front.

Agree, benteke I think will be fit and play .
Spurs are an attacking team and we can catch them on the break - west ham showed they can be opened up.

We did actually lose two of those four though. So it's not as if people thinking we might lose is ridiculous.

It won't be 0-4 but I think Spurs are too strong for us these days.

Out of interest, what was your prediction for our last home game?

I predicted a 0-5 loss v CiŁy so I'm doing the same here. 0-4 spurs win.
