The law of averages suggests we cannot possibly lose 4-0 at home to them for the third time in a row.

I'm going for a 1-1 draw.

Optimistic. Going for a draw now that West Ham have penetrated Spurs' imaginary force field

I can see this being really high-scoring, both team's strongest asset is arguably their front lines, and neither defence looks particularly sturdy.

2-2, Weimann and Kozak for us.

0-4 home loss. Spurs are too good for us.

Like Man City and Arsenal were?

Tough one. Spurs will be desperate to bounce back after that awful result against Wet Spam. They'd looked possible contenders up until that point, if unspectacular.
On the other hand we'll have revenge on our minds and be bouyed by our last home result, and hopefully big CB back in the side.

I reckon they might play into our hands a bit, allowing us to break on them, which suits our game. I think we'll score. We'll concede. Defensively we look fairly good now, so I don't see them notching up close to 4 again.

2-2.
Benteke, Weimann.

Couple of wankers for them.

2-1 Villa, Benteke with both. Statue erected of the Beast outside of the ground after the game to celebrate his return to world dominance.

Based on our league form alone i think i and most others would fancy our chances. That 4-0 was horrible in the league cup, great that we have such an early opportunity to make amends. 2-0 villa, bentekke and gabby.

1-3 Spurs.

Like Matt above, I don't think they're a good match up for us, they have pace out wide which our back 4 struggle against as we saw against Newcastle, they have power in midfield which our central lot usually struggle against and they have pace in defence which will probably scupper our strikers. And if all else fails pull the opponents shorts down and a foul won't be given.

They're hardly invincible though, West Ham battered them which was a remarkable result and they took 94 minutes to score at Cardiff so hopefully Guzan's in good form.

Benteke needs to start really, just give the back 4 a little bit more to think about, Sylla also needs to start aswell.

For me this game is a bit test of Lambert's managerial potential. Spurs have come to VP twice in the last 8 months and taken the piss, I really don't want that happening for a third time so hopefully Lambert can come out with a good plan to negate their threat.
